Also, if you have completed forms and they are not showing as updated, look for the circular refresh button on the screen and click it to update the view.
Lastly, please use Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome to complete your registration as Internet Explorer will not work properly. The Safari browser on Apple devices can also be problematic, so you may want to use the Chrome or Firefox app if you are using an Apple device.
Students who are returning to Dixon Public Schools in the Fall, the on-line registration process will open on Monday, July 9th. Your child will be considered enrolled for the upcoming school year as long as you have completed this process. Log in to your parent portal to do the on-line registration. Some location numbers have changed, so if you need help with the getting your parent portal access, please send in a help request. There is a new Parent Portal log-in site with some new features. A helpful information sheet is at the bottom of this page about this new site and the features. The new parent portal features are more compatible with smart phones and mobile devices.
Parents who do not have a computer or need assistance, the District office will have extended hours on Friday, July 27th and Mon., July 30th. The hours will be from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on both those days and will have personnel and computers available to complete this on-line process.
New families or incoming PreK, Kdg. parents who have already completed paperwork and turned everything in – do not need to do the on-line process.
Letters to parents who are automatically approved for free lunches through the State of IL will be receiving letters in the mail within the next few days.
If you owe school fees and pay them on or before August 20th, you will not be charged the additional $10 which will be applied after Aug. 20th. Payments can be made on-line or in person, by credit card, cash or check.
Kdg. thru 5th grade students – class lists will be posted on the outside doors of your school building by 3 p.m. on Friday, August 10th. The first day of school is Monday, August 20th, and it is a half-day.
Does your child still need a physical or immunizations? On July 24th & 26th, KSB is partnering with Lee County Health Dept. to provide school physicals & immunizations for 6th and 9th grades as well as sports physicals for all grades. Please contact KSB – 284-5719 to schedule physical & LCHD – 284-3371 to schedule Immunizations.
