Monday, July 27th the District Office will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for walk in registration. You may drop off paperwork or use one of our computers to complete registration. Social distancing and masks will be required during registration. If you need our help and don't want to come to registration please call us at 373-4966 and we will assist you over the phone. We need you to register your student no matter what option you choose by Friday, July 31. This enables the District to start developing class lists and busing options. The second round of remote learning packets will be distributed beginning tomorrow, April 20, 2020. Parents will be able to drive up to their school to get packets and turn in completed packets. Packets can be picked up Monday through Friday from 7:30 am until 3:00 pm. Online learning will also be available by 7:30 am tomorrow. Please turn in any library books that students are done reading. We will provide information for picking up student's supplies and materials in the near future. Stay safe and healthy.

October 28, 2019 PRESS RELEASE On October 28th, 2019 at approximately 9:00 a.m., the Dixon High School received a telephone call from an unknown subject, older male, who stated, “The school should be looking into students that failed to attend school today, as they might have another Milby situation.” With any comment(s) or threat, the safety and security of our students and staff is our utmost priority and we take any threats with the utmost seriousness. The Dixon Police Department along with the Dixon Public Schools Administration have been and will continue to investigate the telephone call that was received this morning. At approximately 9:15 a.m., and due to the telephone call that was received, the Dixon Public Schools were placed on “Internal Lockdown.” Internal Lockdown allows the students and staff to move freely around within the school and classes continue as planned, but no one is allowed to leave the building and people are vetted that are wanting to enter the school as well. While we don’t anticipate or believe there is any threat to the students and staff at the Dixon High School, but while erring on the side caution, the department will have extra personnel at the schools. This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the Dixon Police Department at (815) 288-4411.

Join us Saturday, October 26 at 10 a.m. at Jefferson School and at 1 p.m. at Dixon High School. There will be District personnel and representatives from Russell Construction and Green Associates there to answer your questions. Students in kindergarten learning that mixing yellow & red make orange! Then used that orange to paint pumpkins. Then they learned that mixing yellow & blue make green for the stem & grass. Then, they put it all together for the final project! #washpride #gopurple 🎃

The 1st Grade field trip going to Jonamac Apple Orchard in Malta is postponed for tomorrow October 2nd. This will effect the classrooms of Mrs. Scott, Miss Larson, Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Spangler, and Mrs. Roberts. We are postponing this trip due to unfavorable weather forecast.
