FITNESS FOCUS:
Before the Chicago Bears' divisional round playoff game, TJD students learned the basics of football, including running routes, navigating tackling pads, catching, passing, and kicking field goals. They also enjoyed using our bumper balls for tackling.
The kids have really embraced gaga ball, demonstrating great sportsmanship throughout the activity.
Additionally, we welcomed Arlo to our 247 Pacer Test Club, while Malachi achieved an impressive milestone by reaching 700 in the Pacer over a few class periods.

100th Day of school. Mrs. Boelter's class celebrated the 100th day of school with many fun activities. Here are a few.

This decision is based on the Cold Advisory provided to districts from the National Weather Service. Tomorrow will be an inclement weather/snow day that will be made up at the end of the year. The TJD campus is without water due to an electrical problem with the well. As a result, the students will be dismissed for the day. Buses have been arranged to pick students up at 9:30am this morning and students will be taken home. If as a parent you plan to pick your child up at school, please contact the TJD office at (815) 888-0002 and the staff will hold your child for pickup. Arrangements are being made for students to be sent home with a cold lunch.
