Reminder - B lunch students. You must eat lunch in the cafeteria, off-campus, or outside. You are not allowed to be anywhere else in the building during lunch, as that is staff lunch and freshman class period.
2nd Chance Dress Closet - Homecoming is September 26th and we have a large selection of gently used and brand-new dresses available for you! Stop in the main office and see Stephanie if you would like to take a look.
Homecoming 2026 – The theme is RIO!
Dress up days are as follow:
· Monday – Adam Sandler Day
· Tuesday – Meme or P.J. Day
· Wednesday – Color Wars (Fr. – Green, So. – White, Jr. – Blue, Sr. – Red, Staff – Black)
· Thursday – Vsco vs. Emo
· Friday – Spirit Day
Tickets for the homecoming dance – Tickets will go on sale in the cafeteria during lunchtime. Costs this year are $12. The price will include a ticket and a button made by the Lifeskills class. The buttons are a memento for this year's dance.
Any DHS student taking an out of town/out of high school guest MUST pick up a form from the main office and have it turned into the main office by Friday, September 18th. All students, including out of town/high school guest must have a student ID and/or state ID at the dance to be allowed in.
Homecoming Pictures – MF Imaging Studio will be present at the Homecoming Dance for any of your on-the-spot picture needs. These pictures will be available for purchase throughout the night.
Homecoming Attendant Nominations - An e-mail will be sent out for homecoming attendant nominations. Nominations will be open Monday and end Tuesday. Voting for attendants will be Thursday and Friday this week. Voting for King and Queen will be next week. Be on the lookout for e-mails from Mr. Woodward.
Spain Trip 2028 - Are you looking for adventure? Señora Fitzanko is taking a trip to Spain in June of 2028 and would like all interested students to see those famous places you have studied, experience Spanish culture firsthand, try out your Spanish speaking skills, and see new parts of the world! Check out the informational meeting on Thursday, September 17 at 5:30pm in room 209 and please bring a parent. Please enter through door 10, which is next to the cafeteria parking lot. Don't miss this AMAZING opportunity! See you there!
Fellowship of Christian Athletes - Invites all students, teachers, and staff to join us on Thursday, September 24, at 7:10 a.m. for See You at the Pole. We will meet at the flagpole in front of the high school for this time of prayer for our school, community, nation, and world.
DHS Wrestling – Anyone interested in wrestling, open mats begin this Sunday 9/13/26 from 11a-12p in the DHS wrestling room.
