Students Who Are Detasseling - Mr Ricks 1st detasseling meeting is tomorrow night, May 3rd, in the RMS Cafe from 5:30-7:00pm.

In honor of Earth Day, 6th graders mined their Earth cookies to recognize the impact human activities have on our Earth.





The RMS Scholastic Bowl competed in their regionals on Wednesday night. They put up a great fight but lost to Peru Parkside in three matches. Congratulations on an amazing season!

Earlier this afternoon, an Illinois Central School Bus was involved in an accident on Route 2 between Oregon and Byron. We want to confirm that NO DPS #170 students were on the bus at the time of the accident. We are awaiting additional information from law enforcement. There are delays in bussing this afternoon due to the closure of Route 2.

We would love to give a shoutout to all of the RMS Young Author Winners - Sofia G, Lauren H, Ellie K, Jenna M, Joely O, Owen L, Nathan S, Sebastian S, and Sophia W. Over the next few weeks, we will be highlighting each of these students individually and sharing their stories!
