Based on the information discussed at the Board of Education meeting held on January 27th, 2021, we will likely be returning to 5 days of in-person learning beginning February 22nd, 2021. The official vote on this will be held on February 17th, 2021. If the board votes to return to 5 days of in-person learning that would mean that students at RMS and DHS would have two options: Attend 5 days a week in-person or be a full remote learner. If you wish to change your student's placement from in-person to full remote or vice versa, please contact the main office of the building at which they attend.

B Day students will attend in-person on Tuesday, January 26th and Thursday, January 28th; these students will be working remotely on Monday, January 25th, Wednesday, January 27th, and Friday, January 29th.
These days will alternate each week so be sure to follow the A/B Calendar linked above.
We thank you for your patience and flexibility with our Canvas issues that we are experiencing as we are transitioning schedules between the semesters. This rollover of data between Lumen and Canvas will continue over the weekend and should be ready for Monday. We will likely have a few glitches here and there so please continue with your patience. We are going to use class time on Monday and Tuesday to make sure students are enrolled in correct classes and that the proper Canvas tiles are listed.
When students return on their in-person day on Monday or Tuesday, they will enter the building and head directly to their Advisory class to begin their day. Printed schedules will be given to them at this time and we will help the navigate from period to period as some classes and teachers have changed. Again, when changes take place, they take time to update in our systems, but making this transition at this time is a necessary step to take in an effort to move closer to added days of in-person learning. When this day comes, transitioning back to more of a traditional school will be seamless. We will continue to communicate any changes along the way.
2nd Quarter Grades will be updated in Parent/Student Portal this evening and report cards will be sent via email next week.
Thank you again for your continued support throughout the year and being partners together in your child's education. Please reach out if you have any questions! (815)25D-IXON
