Attendance Matters
From the first day a student attends Pre-K to their high school graduation day, every minute in school matters. To get students on track to be successful in school and life, the entire community - parents, students, educators, businesses, neighbors - must come together and make daily student attendance a priority.
Attendance plays a fundamental role in a student’s educational journey, personal growth and future prospects (including being less likely to live in poverty), but it also impacts everyone in that child’s school community.
Plus, attending school regularly helps children feel better about school and themselves. Help your child gain comfort and self-confidence and find joy in school every day.

Report an Absence
Daily attendance is important for all students, but we understand that on occasion a child may need to miss a day of school. On those days, please be sure to report your child's absence to his/her school by 9 a.m. each day that your child will be absent.
