In today's fast-paced world, it is easy to get caught up in our own routines and forget the importance of community. With that being said, these last few weeks have proven that we, as Dixon Public Schools, haven't folded to the norm. Our community is as active as ever. From filling out the Homecoming stands, to showing up for influencer and #1 Youth Motivational speaker Jordan Toma and cheering on our home-grown state medalist Katie Drew on social media we are proving that we can adapt, strive and stay active with the times. Social engagement plays a pivotal role in building and sustaining strong bonds. If we keep relying on each other to come together to contribute to the well-being of our shared environment, we will continue to show the world what it means to be a community.
