Parents the start of school is just around the corner. Our first day of school is Monday, August 15 and we will dismiss students at 11:00 a.m. that day. Please be sure you have your students registered. Here are some reminders:
Free lunches for ALL have expired. Families that will continue to receive free meals you should have received a letter back in July. Good evening, The start of the school year is in a couple of weeks and we are starting to finalize student busing information. The parent’s bus information is being added to your student’s portal daily. If you registered early, the information should already be posted to the portal, please login to view the information. If you just registered this past week, please check regularly as the information will be updated daily. Please note, if the route number shows 00, that means your child is not assigned or riding a bus. If the route number shows 001, they are ineligible to ride a bus. For the most part, route times and stops have remained the same as last year. Please be at the stop at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled arrival. Kindergarten families will receive a call from the bus company before school starts. The shuttles will leave the schools at 7:15am for those students walking to catch a shuttle. The shuttle schedule has been posted to the website at this link. https://5il.co/1f7n3 Please be patient as the start of the year always involves some adjustments and changes. Attention DHS Band parents and students! Marching band camp starts this Monday, 8/1 from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm at Dixon High School in the band room. Camp is required for all students registered for high school band. Please reach out to rcarter@dps170.org with any questions.
