As we wrap up Assistant Principal Appreciation Week, our Principals would like to share a few words on how much they mean to Dixon Public Schools.
Mr. Shaner: "The DHS Assistant Principals do a wonderful job helping to ensure our students and staff are supported each day"
Mr. Magnafici: "Ms. Henegar is a steady, student-centered leader who builds strong relationships with staff and students while keeping a clear focus on growth, support, and success for all. Her positive presence and commitment to doing what is best for kids makes a lasting impact on our school each and every day.
Mrs. Downie brings energy, compassion, and a solution-focused mindset to Reagan Middle School, always going above and beyond to support students and staff. Her dedication to creating a positive, supportive environment helps make RMS a great place to learn and grow."
Mr. Sagel: "Mrs. Mitchell is smart, caring, dedicated, and continually puts others before herself. She is a big part of the reason Madison is a great place to teach, learn, and grow! Thank you Mrs. Mitchell!"
Mrs. Thorpe: "There are people who stand beside you, and then there are people who anchor you, the ones who balance you in a way you didn't even realize you needed. Kelli Full is that person. If I am the left, she is the right. Where I bring perspective, she brings the counterbalance that makes the whole picture clearer. What makes Kelli exceptional isn't just her leadership or skill; it's the steadiness in the middle of the storm. She doesn't shy away from the hard days; she walks straight into them with me. She doesn't endure the battle; she helps transform it. We stand together and that makes us both stand stronger, think better, and lead in a way that makes a difference."
Mrs. Glenn: "Miss Bus comes to school every day with a positive attitude and a smiling face. She never hesitates to help calm a student or assist a staff member. Our school is a better place because of her!"
From the rest of us, thank you for everything you do here at Dixon Public Schools! #BePurple

Congratulations to this week's DHS Spirit Stick winner Grace Klein!
As the AG Teacher and FFA Leader Miss Klein creates hands-on learning experiences where students build, grow, care for animals, and learn life skills. She also helps students explore careers in agriculture, science, and environmental fields—opening doors for life after graduation. #BePurple

Wishing the team the best of luck! #BePurple
