DPS Board of Education will be holding a Public Hearing on the FY 27 Budget at the September 23rd Board meeting. The FY 27 Proposed Budget is on display at the District Office and can be found on the website at www.dps170.org.

Mrs. Fitzanko's AP Spanish Language and Culture class is showing off their snazzy new t-shirts today. They were designed by Kyara Chavez. These students are already hard at work this year and doing a fantastic job mastering their Spanish language skills.

Mr. Sutton, DHS Math Teacher/Dixon Dice Board Game Club Advisor, with Mr. Mauch and Mr. Hoffman joining in on the fun! The club meets every Wednesday and Thursday at 2:45pm in the Tech Zone.

Our 2nd and 3rd graders started their day practicing an important bus safety including how to safely exit the bus through the back emergency exit. These hands-on drills help students feel prepared and know what to do in an emergency.

Great job, Jefferson students, for taking safety seriously and practicing these important skills, and thank you to our bus drivers for all their help!
