The LCSEA Transitions class had the pleasure of recognizing two students for February Student of the Month, Nicole Miller and Anthony Ahrens. Both students are kind, hardworking, and always willing to lend a helping hand. In addition to these wonderful qualities, both students are exceptional role models for their peers and have shown significant growth in self-advocacy skills. Students were nominated by their peers and classroom staff. Congratulations Nicole and Anthony!

Ready to light up Friday nights and bring the energy to the field? The DHS Football Dance Team is holding tryouts March 17–20 from 3:45–4:30 PM in the DHS cafeteria!
This is open to all incoming 9th-12th graders who want to perform, build friendships, and be part of something bigger than themselves.

WACC, the Sauk Valley Chamber of Commerce, the University of Illinois Extension, and the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) have partnered to create a hands-on Entrepreneurship Camp. During this five-week experience, students will learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and develop their own business idea from concept to launch.
The camp will meet every Wednesday for five weeks, beginning June 10 and culminating on July 11, when campers will showcase and sell the products they’ve developed throughout the program.

RMS Builders Club members donated items and assembled 32 Birthday Bags for the Dixon Food Pantry! These special bags will be distributed to families in need to help children celebrate their birthdays in a meaningful way. We are so proud of our students for their generosity and for making a difference in our community! #BePurple
Congrats to this week's Madison Spirit Award winner Rich Helander! Rich does an incredible job supervising lunch and recess and does it with a smile. He is consistently patient, kind, helpful, and makes sure students are safe and learn sportsmanship. The students love him and it's not hard to see why! Thanks for all you do Rich!
