Dixon Public Schools is having their Regular Board Meeting on Wed., April 20, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Board Room at the District Office, 1335 Franklin Grove Road.
The District is returning to an in-person meeting format. The meeting will be recorded and will be posted on the District’s YouTube channel and website. Masks are recommended. Social Distancing will be observed. Those wishing to submit public comment need to email them to the Board President, Linda Wegner and to the Superintendent, Margo Empen, by Noon on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Public Comment received after this time may not be guaranteed to be read aloud at this meeting.

Reminder to DHS and RMS band parents! Tonight is the mattress sale parent meeting @ 5pm in the Dixon High School band room (Door #9). You will receive more information about the sale at this meeting. The band gets a $5 bonus towards their fundraising goal per parent that attends!
Last week, the district was able to recognize the extra efforts of our K-8 teachers that piloted ELA curriculum resources throughout the year. The district is so very appreciative of all of their hard work!
Our DPS 5th-12th grade students did a fantastic job at the choir concert tonight.
Want to hear some phenomenal singers? Madison, Reagan, and Dixon High School are joining together for the first annual DPS Choir Festival. The fest for students is from 4 - 6 pm, doors for the concert open @ 6:15 in the James A. Wiltz Auditorium @ DHS. Concert begins @ 6:30.
Are you in need of a new name brand mattress at the fraction of the price? DHS and RMS band are having their second annual mattress fundraiser on April 30th from 10am - 5pm in the Reagan Middle School Gymnasium. All funds will go to RMS band to replace old equipment .
