Dixon Public Schools is having their Regular Board Meeting on Wed., April 17, 2024, at 6:00 pm.
This meeting will be recorded and posted on the District's YouTube channel and website. Those wishing to submit public comment need to email them to the Board President, Linda Wegner, and to the Superintendent, Margo Empen, by noon on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. Students participated in the 2024 National AG Week Coloring Contest sponsored by Lee County AG in the classroom. There were 218 entries representing five school districts, grades K-8! Mrs. Pratt awarded the following students with certificates and a goodie bag.

We are currently in our Outdoor Track and Field season but let us give a congratulations to our Indoor Track and Field State Medalists! The Indoor Championships took place at the Shirk Center in Bloomington, IL. Olivia Cox placed 4th in Shot Put, with a distance of 11.17 meters, Aaron Conderman (not pictured) placed 6th in the 3200m run with a time of 9:41:14, and Tyson Dambman (not pictured) placed 6th in Long Jump with a mark of 6.27 meters! #GoPurple #BePurple

Lee-Ogle Transit System (LOTS) is currently engaged in a feasibility study regarding potentially offering fixed route service throughout the Dixon community. The attached flyers outline two opportunities for members of the community to participate in the process.
The first opportunity is to complete the survey and the second is to attend a public information meeting. The District values our partnership with LOTS and is supporting their initiative through participation in the study and through the distribution of this information.
