Regional & Sectional Cross Country Info-
The regional at KanelandHS (10/24) will only allow parents/siblings as spectators. No spectators outside of immediate family will be allowed.
The sectional at LakesHS (10/31) will allow NO spectators. They will live stream the event.

Dixon Public Schools' regular Board meeting will be Wed., Oct. 21, 2020 at 6 p.m. at the Administration Office.
The District is returning to an in-person meeting format and will also live stream the meeting. There will be a limited number of seats (13) available for those in attendance. Once all seats are filled, no one will be allowed inside to attend the meeting. Masks must be worn by all who are attending on-site. Those wishing to submit public comment need to email them to the Board President, Linda Wegner at lwegner@dps170.org and the Superintendent, Margo Empen at mempen@dps170.org by Noon on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. Public Comment received after this time, may not be guaranteed to be read aloud at this meeting.
Since 1990, the Governor of Illinois has designated the third full week of October as Principal Appreciation Week. The week ends with Principal Appreciation Day on Friday, October 23, 2020! Parents/Guardians: LTC-Spark has a parent hub that I think you will find very helpful. DPS #170 has utilized the Learning Technology Center numerous times for professional learning and ideas. SPARK stands for Supporting Parents and Remote Kids. They provide assistance and information on SeeSaw and Canvas, as well as Microsoft and Google. DPS #170 has updated our Quarantine/Re-Entry Guidelines to match District Nurse, Sherry Hafer's, automated call. We have added the box in the top left about anyone in your household being tested or having COVID like symptoms. When in doubt, please contact your building nurse or Mrs. Hafer (815-453-4966)

Parents/guardians: For those students staying with or moving to remote only learning, lunches will continue to be passed out on Monday and Wednesdays at 9 AM. If this time does not work for you please contact your school to look at setting up an alternate time for pick up. On Mondays students receive lunches for Monday and Tuesday, and on Wednesday they receive meals for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. If you have any questions please contact your child’s school. Due to having Monday off you will pick up food tomorrow and Wednesday.
