Music in the Parks Award Winning Reagan Middle School Band and Choir will be holding their Spring Concert on Thursday, May 11th at 7 pm at the DHS James A Wiltz Auditorium.
Dixon Public Schools is having a Regular Board Meeting on Wed., May 10, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.
The meeting will be recorded and will posted on the District’s YouTube channel and website. Those wishing to submit public comment need to email them to the Board President, Linda Wegner and to the Superintendent, Margo Empen, by Noon on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. Public Comment received after this time may not be guaranteed to be read aloud at this meeting.
Graduation Information 2023
Dixon High School’s graduation ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 28th, at 1:00pm on AC Bowers Field weather permitting. If the weather does not permit an outdoor ceremony, it will take place in the Lancaster Gymnasium. Gates will open one hour prior to ceremony time.
Graduates should arrive for graduation by 12:20pm to line up for the ceremony.
Graduation practice will take place on Wednesday, May 24th, at 7:45am in Lancaster Gymnasium. All graduating seniors that are participating in the ceremony are REQUIRED to be at practice. Caps and gowns will be distributed at practice. Immediately following practice we will have a Senior Picnic at the AC Bowers Field.
If you have not ordered a cap and gown, you should do so as soon as possible. The website for ordering is www.highschool.herffjones.com. If you need help or have questions, please contact Vanessa in the main office (815-453-4966 or vankney@dps170.org).
